  1. Explanation: I wanted my poem to show how upset Jem was by the outcome of the Tom Robinson trial. He was angry that the people on the Jury were so quick to throw Tom in Jail. Jem had stated that it wasn't right to convict a man with so little "evidence". So I decided to portray how Jem felt by pulling out quotes from the chapters and putting them together. My found poem really does show how upset Jem felt.

  2. Adding all the questions in your poems really helped me know how Jem feels. I too used Jem for my poem except I concentrated on how he is growing up. I thought that was the only focus for Jem but you proved me wrong this poem is really well written. Well done, Gianna!

  3. Gianna, your poem was one of the most intriguing from the class because you added a lot of questions, but you also focused mostly on how Jem felt about the trail. I also really loved when you showed how Jem's views on the people of Maycomb changed. Great Job!

  4. Great job with your poem! It goes very well together and I can tell you spent a lot of time writing/thinking about it. I like how you had the poem ask different questions that all seemed to be what Jem was thinking when he stormed out of the courthouse. Overall, awesome poem!
